These images were taken at Aviation Nation 2010 at Nellis AFB these are just a few of the images I took
series of images I made which are either Duotones or Tritones these two techniques can make things a little intersting I like to use it on my airplanes and cars but if you want to use it on people I would use it lightly because it has the efect of sepia toning but used more extremely like in these examples you can get some interesting effects
The story behind the images is this a couple of months ago I attended Photoshop World and Jim De Vitale was giving a workshop on compositing which is something I like to do in photoshop well after I got home I decided to give my self an assignment and that was to take a few pictures combine them to see what Id get well recently I had been thinking about a friend who died during the war in Iraq and I had a few pictures form the veteran’s cemetery and also the Memorial for the fallen out at red rock so I started to combine the images and this is what I got these pictures were done in Memory of Marine CPL Jesse Jaime You are gone but not forgotten also Id like to thank the men and women who serve in the military and the veterans who have served their country proudly I will never forget
These shots were taken at the 2010 Super Run in down town Henderson I really enjoyed shooting these cars and seeing the variety of the different types of cars there although car shows can cause challenges ie people in your shots or trees growing out of cars it can be an awesome experience although I need to start shooting more pictures of people at theses events because its not only about the cars but the people who make somthing like super run such a wonderful experience
C-17 taken at Aviation Nation 2009 airshows are nice places to shoot aircraft because you can get some rally nice pictures of a variety of aircraft
Nelson Nevada
To all my photographer friends who live in Las Vegas I have found a really cool spot to shoot models or just old buildings its Nelson nevada or really just a little bit past they have a blown up airplane rusted out cars down the road is an aircraft bone yard slash junk yard and to shoot models its only 10 bucks an hour which really isnt too bad also I’ll be trying to update my blog updated more often with pics and tips and war stories more often
